For the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nike staged On Air, its flagship event of the Games, gathering Nike athletes and industry insiders in one space. Within it, the GeneAlogy room traced the full history of the Air line: an exhibition of shoes from every era, anchored by a room-scale LED wall. For that wall, I developed the motion identity and produced the central 4-minute film, a three-chapter journey from Air's inception to its adoption by the rave culture of the nineties. I designed the typography and image motion inside a strict grid that was itself in motion, driven by a generative layout, a system embodying the technological precision and constant progress at the core of Air. Chapter transitions, pacing, and every moving element on the wall followed this single visual logic, so the room read as one continuous piece rather than a sequence of assets. The audience was the most demanding one Nike has: its own athletes, at the biggest sporting event on earth.
